What a delivery!

I've been working on a large project which required ten 20" x 30" images on double matboard. Well, they were delivered this week and were living large on my front porch. I was shocked to see them taking up my entire storm door. I was laughing as I had to enter the house through the garage and open the front door from the inside. The images turned out great and I continue to be amazed with my photofinisher.

Here are some photos from a recent session at the south end of Wrightsville Beach. We've known the Lindberts for a few years and they are an incredibly sweet family. Nate was a bundle of energy and seemed to love the camera. He kept running to me while pointing and saying "picture...picture". We were blessed with a beautiful evening and a fantastic sunset.

Born Into Brothels

Last night I watched Born Into Brothels which was followed by a Q&A session with writer and director Zana Briski. The documentary is about children living in the brothels in Calcutta India’s red light district, many of whom are sold into the trade. Zana Briski went to India to photograph the women in the brothels but her project turned into teaching the children how to use cameras. This is their story.

By Design

Well, it’s Thursday and I’m just getting around to posting some pics from this past Sunday. It’s been kind of a crazy week. Anyway, I was able to take some shots at church as we were finishing up the By Design series about God’s design for the family. Greenville Rose at New Hanover

Below are some shots from the Greenville Rose at New Hanover football game from Saturday night which was rescheduled due to the rain from Tropical Storm Ernesto. Three-time defending 4A state champion Greenville Rose won the game 50-14.
